She recently then stepped into a greater leadership role at Gateway Church as Associate Campus Pastor. Often being the only woman in the room, Pastor Lorena talks about how her trust in the Lord allowed her to move through her roles with greater humility, maintaining a heart to serve others above all else. While her gender and ethnicity could have been a vice for exclusion, she learned the joy of faithfulness, trusting the Lord with the outcome in every season. God's favor went before her and opened doors that no man can shut.
